Dual Director of Sales – Hanover, Maryland

We are seeking a dynamic sales leader to oversee two select-service hotels in the Hanover, MD market. This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and leading high-performing sales teams to achieve property and market goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily sales activities across both properties, ensuring revenue goals are met and market share grows.

  • Build and maintain long-term, value-based relationships with clients to drive repeat business and account growth.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans for all market segments, including proactive solicitation goals.

  • Identify customer business needs and craft tailored proposals to increase revenue share for the hotels.

  • Collaborate with revenue management to monitor transient selling rates and make strategic pricing decisions.

  • Achieve personal booking goals for business transient and extended stay segments.

  • Oversee the operational aspects of booked business, including proposals, contracts, and client correspondence.

  • Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and adjust strategies to meet financial targets.

  • Assist in creating and executing internal and external promotions.

  • Maintain relationships with key accounts and stakeholders to maximize customer satisfaction and revenue.

  • Interact with guests to gather feedback and review guest satisfaction results, identifying areas for improvement.

  • Display leadership in guest hospitality, setting a positive example for customer service.

  • Represent the hotels at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

  • Coach, mentor, and develop the sales team, modeling effective selling techniques and fostering professional growth.

Requirements:

We are looking for a self-motivated Hotel Dual Director of Sales with solid leadership skills, a strong work ethic, and a drive to exceed expectations. It is also important that you have excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills as well as the ability to establish rapport with both new and existing clients. Specific qualifications for the role include:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; Bachelor’s degree, a plus
  • Solid organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills
  • Proven lead-generation and closing skills
  • Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screening
