Event Sales Administrator 

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Event Sales Administrator and are actively looking to meet the best and brightest talent that the hospitality industry has to offer. We would welcome the opportunity to speak to you regarding this position as well as to answer any questions you might have regarding the company.

We are seeking a Event Sales Administrator to assist the Sales and Marketing Department by performing administrative functions as well as event support. This will include answering phones, filing, coordinating marketing/advertising projects, maintaining marketing materials and calendars, as well as our meetings and catering sales efforts, distributing inquiries to Sales team, create sales kits, and other duties as assigned. 

Requirements: 

  • Ideal Experience and Personal Profile
  • Experience equivalent to intermediate, or preferably advanced, user level in: Microsoft Office, Canva, Event Platforms. TripleSeat is a plus
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to review written material for compliance with rules of correspondence and grammar.
  • Skilled in the use of general office equipment (i.e. copiers, fax machines, etc.).
  • Contribute to overall guest satisfaction by promptly responding to emails & phone calls.
  • Prioritize & respond to leads in a timely manner & with the correct information.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the property regarding inquiries, leads & events. 
  • Create, maintain, update & maintain the necessary documents & presentations to assist the Sales team in generating & tracking business leads. 
  • Maintain the events calendar for all departments including site visits, programming events, tentative holds & in-house groups.
  • Ability to excel in a diverse work environment and communicate with individuals having a wide variety of educational levels and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Ability to organize work, plan multiple activities, establish priorities, and meet deadlines with the ability to maintain a positive, professional demeanor.
  • Availability for normal business hours (Monday through Friday.
  • Applicants with prior marketing experience required and hotel sales experience preferred.
  • Applicants with content creation experience preferred.
