Schedule

This is not a Monday thru Friday job, in fact it requires a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays, but it is for you if you love people and have the right attitude! This position is 2nd shift, mostly 3p-12a, or 4p-1a. 2 Shifts per week. 

Job Summary

Provide efficient, friendly, and accurate food service support in a full-service Marriott environment. The Room Service/Food Runner Attendant ensures timely delivery of food items to both the restaurant, and to our guests in their hotel rooms, with a strong focus to maintain presentation, quality standards, and support to serving staff and culinary teams to create an exceptional guest experience.

Job Requirements

• Process orders in an efficient timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, front desk, management, and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service flow.
• Provide warm, professional guest interactions, anticipating needs and resolving minor issues quickly.
• Most enjoy working as a team.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately from the kitchen to guests in accordance with Marriott brand standards.
• Ensure food presentation, temperature, and quality meet hotel and brand expectations.
• Prepare deliver, and present amenities to designated rooms. 
• Keep the water station in the lobby cleaned and stocked.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Complete daily side work to maintain operational success. 
• Rotate product to maintain quality and freshness.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of expo line and room service station.
• Perform floor runs to collect left over glassware, and room service bags.
• Restock concierge lounge 
• Conduct regular inventory checks and report low stock items.
• Assist Bartenders + Servers with running food to our guests.
• Assist kitchen staff on the expo line 
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must be available to pass a background check and be drug free.
