Room attendants are responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms to provide a pleasant and comfortable experience for guests. They ensure that all rooms are inviting and clean and address all guest requests.

Responsibilities include:

• Greet guests courteously and respond to questions or requests in a professional manner.

• Clean and service guest rooms and assigned public areas to brand standards, including making beds, replacing linens and amenities, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and removing trash.

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and properly store linens and terry, including stain treatment in accordance with approved procedures and chemical guidelines.

• Stock and maintain housekeeping carts, laundry closets, and linen inventory to ensure appropriate par levels are available at all times.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry and housekeeping areas.

• Monitor equipment performance, perform routine machine care, and report maintenance or repair needs promptly.

• Report maintenance concerns or technical issues within guest rooms or public areas to management.

• Update room status accurately and communicate progress with Supervisors or Managers.

• Follow all safety procedures, chemical handling guidelines, and company policies.

• Return and restock supplies at the end of each shift to ensure operational readiness for the next team member.
