Assistant Events Manager

The Assistant Events Manager is a seasonal position and the lead for all teams for events on property. This individual is responsible for relaying all event details to the staff working the event and being able to direct the team as needed throughout the run of the event.

• Inputting and dispersing all BEO’s and Timelines after Event Manager review and approval.
• Full understanding of all event details, schedules, client information and ROS
• Lead contact for event staff working during event and communicate event timeline, flow and needs.
• Oversee banquet operations as it pertains to the scheduled event.
• Maintain and report event inventories and supplies.
• Assist staff in set up and breakdown of all F&B offerings for the event.
• Assist staff in set up and breakdown of all wares, buffets and furniture as needed for the event.
• This is not a Monday thru Friday job, in fact it requires a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays and nights, but it is for you if you love people and have the right attitude!
• This position reports to the Events Manager.
• This position is seasonal and eligible for potential commissions.

Responsibilities

• Ideal candidate must have at least 2-3 years food and beverage or event experience.
• Ability to promote and maintain a positive, productive work environment for all associates
• Detail oriented with emphasis on continuous process improvement
• Ability to distribute any and all information effectively, based on from other departments to the front office team to execute
• Ability to work independently within a framework
• Provide exceptional service to all property guests
• Acting Manager on duty as needed
