Food and Beverage Manager

The Williams Inn is seeking an experienced and service-driven Food & Beverage Manager to oversee daily restaurant and banquet operations while ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and financial success.

This role is responsible for managing all food and beverage outlets, including restaurant service, banquet operations, staff leadership and development, menu and promotion execution, and maintaining high service and sanitation standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong hospitality experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.

This position reports directly to the General Manager.


What You Will Be Doing
  • Overseeing daily operations of the restaurant and banquet outlets
  • Reviewing staffing levels to ensure guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met
  • Supervising, coaching, mentoring, and developing team members
  • Creating a positive and engaging work environment focused on teamwork and service excellence
  • Assisting with menu development, food promotions, and operational initiatives
  • Monitoring food quality, service standards, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction
  • Ensuring compliance with all food & beverage policies, procedures, sanitation standards, and applicable laws and regulations
  • Ensuring staff understands and follows local, state, and federal liquor laws
  • Managing labor costs, inventory, and departmental profitability
  • Handling guest concerns and resolving issues professionally and promptly
  • Meeting with guests to obtain feedback regarding food quality, service levels, and overall satisfaction
  • Implementing corrective actions and continuously improving service performance
  • Supporting banquet and special event execution as needed

Requirements
  • Previous Food & Beverage management experience required, preferably within a hotel or upscale hospitality environment
  • High school diploma or GED with 6 years of food & beverage, culinary, or hospitality leadership experience
    OR
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Food Service Management, Business Administration, or related field with 4 years of related experience
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and develop a diverse team
  • Strong guest service and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and liquor law compliance
  • Employment is contingent upon completion of a background check
