Brunch Cook

This position is responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality brunch and breakfast items in an à la carte kitchen. The Brunch Cook will prepare menu items to order, read food tickets, and ensure meals are prepared consistently, efficiently, and according to established recipes and presentation standards. This role will also assist the Executive Chef with food preparation, inventory, ordering, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. Must have a working knowledge of food sanitation, nutrition, food allergies, and cross-contamination procedures.

• Ensuring the kitchen and prep areas are properly set up, stocked, and ready for brunch service.
• Preparing and cooking breakfast and brunch menu items in a timely and professional manner.
• Reading and executing food tickets accurately during busy service periods.
• Maintaining consistency in food quality, portioning, presentation, and preparation.
• Assisting with food prep and inventory and reporting discrepancies to management.
• Following all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Demonstrating strong time management and the ability to prioritize during high-volume service.
• Using problem-solving skills to keep service running smoothly and efficiently.
