This pivotal role reports directly to the General Manager and will help lead the property to new heights of profitability, service, and guest satisfaction.

This isn’t just an operational role, it’s a leadership position for someone who lives and breathes hospitality, particularly F&B. The ideal candidate will drive revenue, streamline operations, and deliver unforgettable experiences with precision and heart.

  • Vendor Management – Build strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, consistency, and favorable terms.

Operational Oversight & Guest Experience

  • Oversee daily operations across F&B and Rooms, ensuring smooth workflows and adherence to health, safety, and service standards.
  • Guide the guest journey from arrival to departure, ensuring seamless, elevated experiences.
  • Collaborate with the GM on rooms inventory, transient strategy, and pricing optimization.
  • Monitor and respond to guest feedback while coaching teams on continuous improvement.
  • Conduct weekly inspections and uphold housekeeping and maintenance standards.

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Develop and present financial reports and KPIs directly to ownership.
  • Assist the GM with budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning.
  • Oversee inventory management and departmental procurement.

Team Leadership & HR Support

  • Recruit, mentor, and lead high-performing teams across operations and F&B.
  • Conduct monthly departmental meetings to ensure communication and alignment.
  • Support the GM in hiring, onboarding, and managing rooms and F&B staff.

Requirements

The Director of Operations will oversee all operational departments, with a particular emphasis on Rooms and Food & Beverage. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, increasing profitability, ensuring service consistency, and building strong relationships within the local community.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

  • 5+ years of hotel operations management experience in a seasonal or event-focused setting.
  • Proven leadership in full-service F&B within an upscale or luxury property.
  • Strong knowledge of both Rooms and Food & Beverage operations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and guest service skills.
  • A strong desire to grow into a General Manager role.
  • Strategic, detail-oriented decision-making with a collaborative mindset.

What Sets You Apart:
