Security Overview:

We are looking for consistent seasonal (April until October) security officer and pool door monitor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The security officer’s responsibilities include patrolling the hotel grounds, monitoring property access, monitoring pool door access to the pool, investigating suspicious behavior and enforcing company policies. You will need to be highly observant and able to objectively assess the severity of a situation while being calm and decisive in any situation.  In this position, you may rotate with other security or front desk personnel to perform other security officer duties or may work a shift at the pool door to ensure guest only entrance and monitor the safety of the pool.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure guests are following the rules and regulations of the pool for a safe and pleasant stay
• Check guests for appropriate documentation and authorized to utilize pool
• Inspecting and patrolling the premises regularly.
• Inspecting and patrolling pool area for unsafe conditions and missing or inoperative safety equipment
• Greet each guest in a courteous and professional manner.
• Report suspicious behavior to appropriate management.
• Communicate with law enforcement if necessary.
• Monitor public access and ensure the security of all personnel and visitors.
• Respond to alarms and noise complaints.
• Investigate suspicious behavior and incidents.
• Maintain an activity log and prepare surveillance reports.
• Maintain communication between the front desk, food and beverage and maintenance of any issues needing attention.
• Assist with intoxicated guests.
• Safe guard guest information to ensure privacy and security.
• Adhering to company policies and legal regulations.
