Laundry Supervisor:

Along with the Laundry Attendants, you have the important responsibility of ensuring all hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry are cleaned, processed, and delivered according to hotel standards. The Laundry Supervisor oversees daily laundry operations, inspects the quality of finished products, maintains inventory levels, and ensures all laundry equipment is operating efficiently. This position provides training, assigns daily tasks, and works closely with Housekeeping and other departments to support exceptional guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities Include:

• Supervising daily laundry operations and assigning tasks to Laundry Attendants.
• Inspecting linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry to ensure quality standards are met.
• Training and coaching laundry team members on proper procedures, safety standards, and equipment operation.
• Monitoring inventory levels of linens, uniforms, laundry supplies, and chemicals.
• Coordinating with Housekeeping and other departments to meet operational needs.
• Maintaining accurate records of linen usage, inventory, and laundry production.
• Ensuring all laundry equipment is properly maintained and reporting any maintenance concerns promptly.
• Managing the processing and distribution of guest laundry in a timely manner.
• Ensuring compliance with hotel safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures.
• Assisting with scheduling and staffing needs in coordination with the Executive Housekeeper or Housekeeping Manager.
• Monitoring productivity and quality standards to maximize efficiency.
• Handling team member and guest concerns professionally and effectively.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe laundry facility.
• Assisting with ordering and receiving laundry supplies as needed.
